Copeland, yes it's an outrage and Assange should be, must be, freed immediately. There is so much to be outraged about, maybe more than ever, even though there is always and has always been so much harm done to innocent others in the name of so-called justice, terrible harm, appalling cruelty and injustice. I applaud you and all those who are calling attention to it. If something can be done to change this situation it must come from those who have the influence, the power to take decisions and move obstacles. In my limited little world there is no such power or influence.

Hi Natalie, It's really good to see you here. More people are becoming aware of what Julian Assange has added to our knowledge of governments that work hard to deceive us. Cheers to people who provided documents to WikiLeaks. Julian would say they are heroes in their own right, risking everything, as people of conscience. They must be founders of a real and more credible civilization, --rejecting the force that serves cruelty. Simone Weil wrote a cautionary essay, "Iliad, or the Poem of Force"; and she wrote "No one really controls force. Men think they control force; but force controls them".

Natalie please come again, let us know how things are going with you across The Pond in your art studio. You have influence, and enough magical abilities to fill a canvas with wonder, my dear.
